Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") define the conditions for using the AI memo application "Nokos" (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.
1. Operator Information
For operator details (name, address, contact), please refer to the Specified Commercial Transactions Act page.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to all provisions of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
3. Account Registration
Account registration is required to use some features of the Service. You warrant that your registration information is true, accurate, and up-to-date. You must strictly manage your account password and not disclose it to third parties. You shall be responsible for any damages caused by unauthorized use of your account.
4. Prohibited Acts
When using the Service, you must not engage in any of the following acts: - Acts that violate laws or public order and morals. - Acts related to criminal activity. - Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights of the Service or third parties. - Acts that infringe on the privacy, honor, or credibility of the Service or third parties. - Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service. - Unauthorized collection or use of other users' information. - Unauthorized access or attempts thereof. - Using the Service for commercial purposes (except when separately permitted by the operator). - Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the operator.
5. Age Restriction
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the Service. Minors using the Service must do so with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights related to the Service and its content belong to the operator or legitimate rights holders. You retain the intellectual property rights to the content you create or upload through the Service, but the operator may use such content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This will be done without identifying individuals.
7. Provisions for Paid Plans
In addition to the Free plan, the Service offers paid plans: Plus and Pro. - Fees: The fees for each plan are as stated on the pricing page. - Payment: Payments are processed via Stripe, and monthly fees are automatically renewed. - Cancellation: You may cancel your paid plan at any time. Cancellation will be effective from the next billing date. - Refunds: As a general rule, no refunds will be issued for fees already paid, unless stipulated by law.
8. Service Changes and Termination
The operator may change, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice. The operator shall not be liable for any damages incurred due to the termination of the Service.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. The operator makes no warranties that the Service will meet your specific purposes, have expected functions or performance, or be free from defects. The operator shall not be liable for any damages incurred through the use of the Service, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Use of Data for AI Training
The Service may use your content in anonymized form for service improvement and development of its own AI models. This will only occur if you explicitly consent (opt in) via the Settings page. You may withdraw your consent (opt out) at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.
11. Governing Law
The interpretation and application of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes concerning the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
13. Language
The authoritative text of these Terms is in Japanese. Translated versions are provided solely for the convenience of users. In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese version and a translated version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
14. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid by a court, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
